I also lost two balls that I hit just off the side of the fairway and green because of the scrub grass. Just dont get too upset if you come play and end up being a bunker on every hole- it's almost par for the course. You really need to be able to hit solid shots that fly to truly play this course. If you're a high handicapper or a low ball/short hitter, this course is going to tear you up. However, I can carry the ball pretty well. Out of the infinite number of bunkers on the course, I only hit it in one (a pretty decent feat in itself). Didnt make it any easier! I really didnt feel like length was an issue on this course, but then again, I hit it farther than most. The crazy thing about the GPS is that it barely helped me understand the hole because the hole was contorted on the screen from bottom left to top right, so it always appeared to be a dogleg. The carts all have GPS, which was pretty spot on with all of the yardages. The hardest part about this course was visualizing the hole, what line/distance you needed to hit tee shots, or how far to carry the ball over the many bunkers around the greens. It was worth every penny of the $59 rate! I've played a lot of good golf courses over the years, and this is another one to add to the collection (played on 04 March)! The greens were impeccable (running a 12 on the stimp today), fairways were lush, and the bunkers were extremely taken care of.
